About Us

I AM A VASCULAR SURGEON, ENDOVASCULAR SPECIALIST, AND VEIN SPECIALIST ("PHLEBOLOGIST")
Over the past several years, I have trained at two of America’s premier vein clinics and am considered a pioneer of Ultrasound-Guided Foam Sclerotherapy in India. To stay at the forefront of advancements in vascular surgery, endovascular intervention, and phlebology, I regularly attend and participate in international workshops and conferences across the USA, Europe, Asia, and India. I also enjoy delivering presentations at vascular and phlebology forums worldwide. I served as Vice-President of the International Union of Phlebology (2013–2017) and held the position of Assistant General Secretary (2017–2021). If you would like a copy of my curriculum vitae, please feel free to contact me.
Many know me through the Vascular Society of India as a Past President and as the Founding President of the Venous Association of India. I was privileged to complete fellowships at renowned international institutions: Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas; the Hope Heart Institute in Seattle, Washington; and the Thrombosis Research Institutein London. I had the distinct honor of being mentored directly by two of the world’s greatest cardiovascular surgeons, Dr. Michael DeBakey and Dr. Lester Sauvage. My editorial contributions include serving on the board of the Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. I also actively review for leading journals such as the European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, Phlebology, Vein and Lymphatics, and the Indian Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.

About My Practice
• I only perform necessary procedures — often, watching and waiting with expert monitoring is the best choice.
• I treat the whole patient, including their symptoms and lifestyle, not just lab reports and imaging. (A very old-fashioned idea!)
• I only recommend safe, cost-effective, and long-lasting procedures.
• I do not experiment with trendy devices just to impress colleagues or charge more.
• I avoid procedures that remain controversial in the West, such as carotid stenting and lasers for varicose veins.
• I offer patients a range of options — from the most conservative to the most advanced — because sometimes “less is more.”
• When I cannot help a patient, I refer them to the right expert. (I don’t pretend to be an expert in everything.)
• I never re-use disposables or cut corners in patient care.
• I attend international workshops every year to stay updated and provide my patients with the best global standards— not just local hearsay.
